You’ve always dreamed of writing a novel…but motherhood changed everything.

Now you’re wondering if finishing your book might help you feel like yourself again.

Do you keep thinking about your novel… even in the middle of everything else you’ve got going on in life?

  • You want to finish your book, but worry no one will care about your story

  • You’re juggling work, family, and constant interruptions

  • You try to “fit writing in,” but it never quite sticks

And yet, the desire to write keeps coming back.

Maybe it’s time to give yourself the same support you give to everyone else.

Motherhood doesn’t mean the writing dream is over.

It just means the old ways of writing no longer work.

You don’t need more discipline or perfect routines.

You need a way to write that actually fits your real life.

In 1:1 coaching, you’ll go from:

  • doubting your story idea to trusting that it deserves to exist

  • waiting for the “right time” to building a writing practice that works now

  • thinking of yourself as someone who wants to write… to someone who is writing

With support from an experienced author and working mom who understands what this season of life looks like.

  • “I’ve written more in the last 4 months than in the entire previous year.”

Hi, I’m Josee.

I’m an indie author, a mom, and a book coach for working parents who want to finish the novels they’ve been dreaming about for years.

Like many of the writers I work with, I used to start and stop projects while trying to figure out how writing could fit into a full, busy life.

In 2021, I finally moved from daydreaming about stories to finishing a novel I was proud of, and I’ve continued writing through motherhood.

Now I help other moms do the same.

In coaching, my clients build sustainable writing practices and finish novels they once thought might never happen.

My 12 month coaching program helps you:

  • clarify your story idea

  • build a strong writing foundation

  • complete a full draft with ongoing feedback

  • revise your manuscript into a novel you’re proud to share

This program is an investment of $4000 if paid in full or 12 monthly payments of $400.

Book a consultation call if you’re ready to finish the novel of your dreams, even in this busy season of life.

FAQs

  • No. Most of the writers I work with are balancing full-time jobs and family life.
Together, we build a flexible writing practice that fits your real schedule, not an idealized one.

  • That’s completely okay. Some clients come in with an idea, others with a partial draft. We meet you where you are and build forward from there.

  • This is one of the most common reasons people seek coaching. Often the issue isn’t motivation; it’s lacking structure and support. We focus on helping you move forward in a way that feels sustainable.

  • Yes. Consistency doesn’t come from willpower, it comes from having a writing approach that works for your life. That’s something we create together.

  • I support novelists across genres. Whether you're writing literary, romance, fantasy, mystery, or something else… your story is welcome here.

  • Courses give information. Coaching gives guidance, accountability, and feedback, tailored to your life and your story.

  • If you’ve been carrying the desire to write for years (and keep coming back to it) that’s usually a sign.

The free consultation call is simply a conversation to see if coaching would support you.

  • That’s completely understandable. Many of the moms I work with are used to investing in everyone else ( childcare, family needs, career growth) but not in their own creative goals.

This work isn’t just about finishing a novel. It’s about building a writing life that fits into the reality of motherhood, so your dream doesn’t keep getting pushed further into the future.

For many writers, the investment is less about the year we spend working together, and more about finally creating momentum after years of waiting for the “right time.”
